Alexandra (she/her) is a composer, arranger and pianist based in Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia. Her compositional style is driven by emotive, lyrical melodies and draws inspiration from people and nature.

She has worked with various ensembles including Omega Ensemble, Camerata (Queensland's Chamber Orchestra), Queensland Youth Orchestras, Sketch Ensemble and Vox Camerata. Her works have also been performed and premiered by Brisbane Chamber Choir, Vox Llinette and Pulse Chamber Orchestra, both in Australia and internationally.

Her recent work includes A Letter for Mardi (2025), which was premiered at the Sydney Opera House by Omega Ensemble. She also composed three new works as the 2024 Emerging Composer-in-Residence for Camerata: Spirit of the Banana Shire, The Child in the Shadows and Falling Upwards. In 2024, she appeared on Corella Recordings' Piano Day 2024 album, with her solo piano works Nostalgia, Rumination and Edna.

In addition to chamber and orchestral works, she has composed the original scores for two short films, Game Over (2020) and Flying Solo (2021).

As a composer and pianist, she regularly performs with the new music ensemble Cerulean Collective. Their most recent performances include the 2025 Long Listen Festival and Horizons Album Launch.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Music (with Class I Honours in Composition) and Bachelor of Science (Physics) from the University of Queensland. She also has an Associate in Music, Australia in piano performance.
